Dr van As Nicolaas

Today, I had to go in to Emergency at the Bluewater hospital and Dr. van As was the doctor who first saw me. He was very kind, and able to spend enough time with me to explain my situation and then proceeded to ensure that I received more help and assistance in another level at the hospital. Several hours later when I was finally able to leave and go home, I happened to pass a desk where Dr. van As was present. He kindly stopped me and inquired as to how I was and if I found out anything regarding my situation. It meant a lot to me for him to stop me and inquire about the results and I truly appreciated him and his genuine concern. At the end of that conversation I said to him "Thank you and I hope to see you again sometime". Once out in the parking lot, I thought to myself "my goodness, such a thing to say to a Doctor......I hope to see you again, of course I would not wish to have to go to a hospital to see him again!!" Anyway, I did appreciate all he did for me today while there. Thank you Dr. van As. and it was a pleasure meeting you.
