Dr. Ogunkeye is indeed the best, we have three little ones and my oldest age 9 suffers anxiety. Dr Ogunkeye and her staff are so patient and understanding. Thank goodness there are still wonderful doctors in the Niagara Region.
I have 4 children. I have two girls 14 & 7 and two boys 10 & 10 mths. She is the best! My kids just love her! She is always so kind, compassionate, and caring. My older son has bad asthma that was not under control and making his life miserable. He plays hky and soccer. She got it so under control that he longer has symptoms. My younger daughter starting at age 2, would snore at night and had bad night terrors. As she got older she started getting strep throat more frequently to the point she was sick 7X one year. Dr. Ogunkeye knew right away what it was. She had extremely enlarged tonsils and adenoids. She immediately referred her to an ENT in Niagara Falls b/c the wait time in St. Cath was mths. My daughter had her surgery on Aug 2 '11 at age 6. The surgeon, Dr. Caetano, said her tonsils were much larger than most kids who get the surgery b/c it should have been done 3 yrs prior. She said my daughter's airway was 90% blocked. My older daughter had a really bad injury to her hip during a hky game last Nov. She had to be carried off the ice. My daughter is a tough girl and has finished games with injuries. So I knew it was bad. The idiot doc in the ER said the xrays were fine so she was fine and go home and tk Advil and ice it. Later that wk I was in to see Ogunkeye with my older son and told her about my daughter. Her jaw hit the floor. She was mad. She said my daughter should have been admitted to peds for further tests and pain control. So she had her admitted that night as my daughter was still in bed. She ordered an ultrasound and it turned out she had water on her hip. And had her hooked up to an IV with Toradol (strong antiinflammatory) and pain med. She genuinely cares and is the best!
